The Department facilitates geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping workshops for the social sciences. Participants are usually faculty, researchers, and administrative personnel of the University.
Workshops are open to government offices and non-government organizations who are interested in knowing how GIS could be applied in their respective fields of research.
