Celes specializes in Population Geography and Quantitative Geography. She currently serves as the Quality Assurance Officer of the Department and a Scientific Alternate Review Member of the UP Diliman Research Ethics Board, inspired to maintain high academic standards and promote effective teaching practices. Her research interests include living alone, loneliness and aloneness; geographies of development and well-being; cluster analysis; social network and belongingness; geographies of everyday life; geographies of health and healthcare utilization. Through these studies, she hopes to contribute valuable insights into the interplay of geographic factors and social well-being.
