Enrique M. Gallardo, Jr. has been in development work for the past 30 years. He has personally and professionally promoted and pursued the inclusion, strengthening, and socio-economic growth of marginalized and conflict affected communities in the Philippines, both in urban and rural areas. He has more than 20 years of specific experience on rural electrification, with a practical knowledge of renewable energy applications for households, schools, health centers, small scale agro-industries, potable water and sanitation systems, and social enterprise development. In different capacities, Mr. Gallardo has worked in government agencies, civil society organizations, and private companies. He has lived and worked in conflict areas of the Philippines. Throughout his career, Mr. Gallardo has developed and has constantly harnessed his ability to facilitate, build consensus, and engender shared leadership.
